Roles have changed, food has changed, lifestyles have changed – and then our whole world turned upside down! Our bodies were struggling to keep up before, but now are taking more of a beating with added stress, less exercise, less overall movement and access to that food vault called a fridge all day long. When we were more often going to public venues and looked around, we could see obesity was rampant, diabetes has been at epidemic levels, non-nutrient “food” is everywhere, heart disease is evident in younger and younger people and suicide rates are grow as we become more and more unhappy with how things are working (or not working) in our lives.
Somewhere we’ve lost the BALANCE.
As a DAD – I understand the struggle! I’ve battled the dad bod, dealt with depression, struggled to find the right food to put on the table, been as unbalanced as it comes – but step by step, I have found the balance and re-nourished myself and my kids in many ways.
