Roles have changed, food has changed, lifestyles have changed – and our bodies are struggling to keep up. Go to any public venue and look around. Obesity is rampant, diabetes is at epidemic levels, non-nutrient “food” is everywhere, heart disease is evident in younger and younger people and suicide rates are grow as we become more and more unhappy with how things are working (or not working) in our lives. Somewhere we’ve lost the BALANCE. As a DAD – I understand the struggle! I’ve battled the dad bod, dealt with depression, struggled to find the right food to put on the table, been as unbalanced as it comes – but step by step, I have found the balance and re-nourished myself and my kids in many ways.
